Days 1 to 4: Linyanti Private Concession

Linyanti Bush Camp

You will be met at Maun Airport for your charter flight to Linyanti, a scenic journey of around 40 minutes that offers breathtaking views of the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Linyanti Bush Camp is set in a private concession bordering Chobe National Park, giving you access to one of Botswana’s most remote and wildlife-rich areas. This exclusive location allows for off-road game drives, thrilling walking safaris, and seasonal mokoro excursions, all in complete privacy.
The camp overlooks the Linyanti Marsh, and your safari days follow a relaxed rhythm. Activities typically begin around 6am (seasonal variations apply) after a light breakfast, with brunch served at approximately 11:30am. Afternoon adventures start after tea at around 4pm, and evenings conclude with a gourmet dinner between 7:30 and 8pm, followed by time around the fire under a canopy of stars.

Days 4 to 7: Okavango Delta, Khwai Community Concession

After your morning activity at Linyanti, you’ll board a scenic flight to Khwai, a journey of around 45 minutes that may include a couple of stops along the way. The flight offers spectacular views as you leave the Linyanti Marsh behind, cross Chobe National Park, and sweep over the northern Okavango Delta before reaching the Khwai Private Concession. On arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to camp, where you can settle in and enjoy a leisurely lunch before heading out for an afternoon safari.
The Khwai Private Concession is renowned for its rich wildlife and diverse habitats, from riverine forests to open floodplains. Expect close encounters with elephants, hippos, and predators such as lions and leopards, along with excellent birdlife. With a little luck, you might also spot African wild dogs or other rare species, making this one of the most rewarding safari destinations in Botswana.

Days 7 to 10: Okavango Delta Private Concession
