Itinerary

Days 1 to 4: Okavango Delta, Khwai Community Concession

Khwai Lediba Camp

You will be met at Maun Airport and your charter flight to Khwai will take around 40mins. The flight takes you across the Okavango with stunning views of this World Heritage site. The Khwai community concession allows off-road game drives, walking safaris and Mokoro safaris and with close proximity to the Moremi Game Reserve at North Gate you also have access to one of Africa's most closely protected areas. The camp lies on the banks of the Khwai River and activities start around 6am (depending on the time of the year) after a light breakfast with Brunch at around 11:30am and the afternoon activities commencing after tea at around 4pm with dinner between 7.30 and 8pm.

Days 4 to 7: Linyanti Private Concession

Linyanti Expeditions Camp

After a morning activity your flight to Linyanti from Khwai will take around 45 minutes with the possibility of a couple of stops on the way. This flight takes in the northern Okavango and on across Chobe National Park and the Linyanti Reserve that borders it. On arrival you will met by your guide and taken to camp where you will settle in and then take part in an afternoon activity. This private concession is superb with large herds of Elephant and Buffalo and some great predator sightings plus the chance for some very rare species such as the Sable and Roan Antelopes and the Serval Cat but only if you are very lucky.

Days 7 to 10: Mosi-a-Tunya National Park, Zambia

Thorntree River Lodge

After your morning activity you will fly to Kasane Airport which takes around 45 minutes where you will meet your driver for your road transfer to Thorntree River Lodge. The drive features a ferry crossing on the Zambezi River and takes about an hour and a half in total including customs and immigration in both countries. At Thorntree River Lodge there are many activities included in the rate and several optional extras and we recommend a sundowner cruise on your arrival and the 'flight of the angels', a microlight or helicopter flight over the falls, is a must but this comes at an extra cost. On your final day a road transfer to Livingstone Airport is included but you can also choose Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe as an option.
