Phinda Homestead
Tucked into the edge of a dappled forest in the north of Phinda Private Game Reserve, lies Phinda Homestead, a gracious sole-use safari villa, complete with a dedicated ranger, tracker, butler and chef. Blending seamlessly into the natural surroundings, and designed like a contemporary bush farmhouse, Phinda Homestead is an elegant and homely sole-use villa, ideal for both families and small groups. Four private bedrooms and spacious bathrooms fuse harmoniously with the cool, expansive, and inviting guest spaces.
Ngala Safari Lodge
Tucked under a canopy of mopane and tamboti trees, Ngala Safari Lodge boasts 20 Classic Thatched Cottages, including three Family Cottages with interleading rooms, and the spacious Family Suite. Each ensuite cottage exudes a romantic ambiance with nostalgic safari memorabilia throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows make the most of sunny safari days and a private veranda offers the perfect setting for private dinners. The gracious Family Suite accommodates four guests and includes a private swimming pool and the use of a private vehicle.
Itinerary
Days 1 to 4: Phinda Private Game Reserve, KwaZulu Natal
Phinda Homestead
You will arrive at Johannesburg Airport for your transfer flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve, which goes via Nelspruit. Once you arrive at Phinda you will be collected by your guide and taken to your Lodge. A variety of incredible adventures are available, including twice-daily game drives, nature walks, conservation and community experiences, sleep outs, village tours, an infrared night eye experience, specialist safaris, as well as nearby ocean activities. Phinda is home to a magnificent variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, but is best known for its large population of cheetah and black rhino. The sand forest is home to the shy suni and the rare red duiker, two tiny antelope that are seldom encountered elsewhere.
Days 4 to 7: Ngala Private Game Reserve, Kruger National Park

After your morning activity you will head to the airstrip for your flight to Kruger and Ngala which will go via Nelspruit.
