Stanley's Safari Lodge

Set on a hill bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and overlooking unspoilt bush, Stanley Safari Lodge is only three kilometer from the Victoria Falls. The views are splendid: the spray of the Falls in the distance, the mighty Zambezi River and on top of that yet another beautiful African sunset. From either our main garden, our infinity pool or from the privacy of your room, views are unmatched.

Luangwa River Camp

The South Luangwa National Park marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, one of the last remaining unspoilt wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa.

It is through this that the great meandering Luangwa river runs, with its ox bow lagoons, riverine supported woodlands and large plains, all of which play host to huge concentrations of game including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo and over 450 species of birds.

Luangwa River Camp sits nestled under an ancient ebony grove on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the game rich area known as the Luangwa Wafwa.

Tena Tena Camp

It is through this 9050sq kilometre National Park that the great meandering Luangwa River runs, with its ox bow lagoons, tributaries, riverine supported woodlands and large plains, all of which play host to huge concentrations of game including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo and over 450 species of birds.

Situated in the exclusive Nsefu Sector Tena Tena sits nestled under a magnificent and thick grove of mahogany trees. On a double tiered river bank each room enjoys its own private view onto a long stretch of the Luangwa River.

Itinerary

Days 1 to 3: Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia

Stanley's Safari Lodge

You will arrive at Livingstone Airport in Zambia (or Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe as an alternative) where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Stanley's Safari Lodge. A tour of the Falls (Park fees excluded) is included with many, many other activities at extra cost, all which can be booked on arrival. Your final morning will see you taken to Livingstone Airport for your flight to South Luangwa National Park

Days 3 to 6: South Luangwa National Park

Luangwa River Camp

You will Arrive at Mfuwe Airport after your flight from Livingstone which will require a transfer in Lusaka, taking a total of about 2 hours. You will be met at the Airport by your guide and taken to Luangwa River Camp which will take about 45 mins to an hour. Depending on your time of arrival you will be able to take part in afternoon activity and see the wildlife that South Luangwa National Park is famous for. Each day follows a routine of an early morning wake up call followed by a morning activity, lunch with a siesta afterwards and an afternoon activity arriving back in camp in time for dinner.

Days 6 to 9: South Luangwa National Park

Tena Tena Camp

After your morning activity transfer to Tena Tena Camp with your guide taking you through the roads of the Park. This may mean you do your morning activity and end up at your new camp taking your bags with you on the morning game drive, this will depend on the day and the management will let you know. The routine here is similar and with only 5 rooms at Tena Tena, you will have a fantastic, and exclusive, safari experience. On your final morning you will take part in an activity (subject to time restrictions) and then be transferred for your flight to Lusaka and your international flight home.
