Perched high above the Luangwa River, Time + Tide Kakuli offers impressive vistas of the river's many visitors below. Designed to celebrate the panoramic setting, the suites have a long, low profile and a bright, airy feel. Freshly redesigned in 2018, the suites offer comfort in all seasons by incorporating features such as a covered open-air lounge and indoor and outdoor showers. Right from your suite, you can listen to the bellowing hippos, see bee-eaters perform their aerial acrobatics and watch elephants and giraffes wandering down to the river.
The elevated main chitenge and deck overlook the river and a permanent waterhole. Beneath the lounge is a wildlife hide that offers up-close views of the wildlife stopping by for a drink. Don't be surprised if brunch is interrupted by a giraffe arriving to feed on the nearby trees!
In the dry season, the camp is a fantastic base for exploring by vehicle and foot. The area is renowned for some of the best game viewing opportunities in Zambia, with abundant leopards, a resident lion pride and a seasonal colony of the immensely beautiful carmine bee-eaters.

Time + TIde Kakuli is a great base for exploring by vehicle and on foot. During our Secret Season, it is the only camp to offer boating on the Luangwa River. Diverse habitat supports a wide variety of plains game and bi game and birdlife alongside the predators attracted to the abundance. The surroundings are renowned for leopard and lion sightings. It is also one of the best camps in the park to see the iconic carmine bee-eaters. In the South Luangwa, expect large herds of elephants and rivers packed with hippos and crocs.

Dotted along the forested riverbanks, Time + Tide Chongwe Camp is surrounded by wild beauty. Set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers against a beautiful mountainous backdrop, the camp offers the best views in the Lower Zambezi.
A grove of towering winterthorn trees creates a shady haven for the camp below. Guests aren't the only ones that enjoy them though - elephants frequently wander through camp to feed on the many seed pods dropped from above. Each tent offers panoramic views along the Chongwe River. Sit out front in comfortable lounge chairs and watch the abundant wildlife visiting the banks to drink and graze on the lush grasses.
Cotton linens, local textiles and handcrafted furniture blend seamlessly with organic fixtures, all designed to make the most of what Mother Nature has provided. The tents feature comfortable beds, ceiling fans, charging points and spacious, open air bathrooms.
