You can’t get much closer to Table Mountain than this… A truly extraordinary luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town, MannaBay is a gateway to the table-topped landmark and its natural mystique. Quite literally. A gate leads directly from MannaBay’s grounds to the Table Mountain National Park.

From this prime setting, becoming of Persian Princes, Orchid Hunters and Heroic Explorers alike, you can look out over the Mother City, across her cityscape to the Atlantic Ocean. The views are dazzling whether you’re breakfasting at The MannaBay Café, with its floor-to-ceiling glass windows; taking a dip in Pom Pom’s private plunge pool; or admiring the Black & White Room’s uninterrupted panorama of the harbour. The Mountain is never far from sight either. She watches over MannaBay from above, eyeing guests clinking champagne flutes at the rooftop Atlas Bar and the koi spyhopping like whales out of the pond of fairy moss.

MannaBay has one suite – the Versailles Suite – and seven luxury rooms, including Black & White, Orchid, Flamingo, Explorer, Persian, Pom Pom and Oriental. The hotel sleeps a maximum of only 16 guests to ensure a more exclusive and intimate stay. Each room is individually designed and decorated.

All rooms have extra-length, king-size beds that can be made into twins, with the exception of our suite, as well as en-suite bathrooms with spacious, walk-in showers. The Versailles Suite and the Flamingo Room have free-standing bath tubs as well as showers.

All rooms have a flat-screen TV and an interactive media centre, with a variety of satellite channels and an extensive selection of movies and music available, an iPod docking station, air-conditioning, under-floor heating in the bedroom and bathroom, block out blinds and American shutters, a safe, WIFI, a GHD hair straightener, hairdryer, Africology products, books, cards, board games and Country Road beach bags with towels.
