Chobe National Park

This world famous National Park provides many varied options for your Safari Experience and is particularly famous for its Predator and Elephant populations. Encompassed within the park and accessible from various Private Safari Lodges or under your own steam at various camping sites, is the Savuti Marsh and River. Flooded for the first time in late 2009 for some 25 years the Marsh and River are the only source of Water for many miles and therefore attracts large herds of Elephant, Buffalo, Zebra, Giraffe and many other species.

The Savuti area is particularly famous for its concentration of Lions which are, remarkably, known for their hunting of Elephants which was documented in the 1980’s. Situated in the far North of the Park is the Linyanti Marsh which is similar to the Okavango but on a much smaller scale. A very remote and inaccessible area lends itself to the feeling of exclusivity as very few people make it to this area. During the dry season Linyanti can offer some of the Largest Herds of Elephants seen anywhere on the African Continent and is also rich in Buffalo, Kudu, Zebra, Leopards and Wild Dog. Surrounding the Park area you can find many private concessions offering Luxury Tented Camps, Walking Safaris and with the recent return of the Permanent water you can also Canoe along the Selinda Spillway seeing areas that have barely been touched by man in the last 50 years.
