Linyanti Tented Camp provides support to projects and initiatives in the Linyanti Concession.

Place
Situated on the iconic Linyanti Marsh, Linyanti Tented Camp is ideal for exploring the Linyanti Concession, a magnet for big game and birdlife across river and floodplains to open dry-land savannah and woodland. Activities include game drives and excursions in the scenic northern sector.

Overview
Set in the 125 000-hectare Linyanti Concession bordering Chobe National Park, Linyanti Tented Camp is the ideal base from which to explore this wildlife-rich area. Unrivalled in its remoteness and the sense of space that it affords, the concession is bordered by two iconic water courses – The Linyanti River to the north and the sporadic and unusual watercourse of the Savute Channel to the south.

Wildlife
The camp is in a diverse area which is an important elephant corridor. Wildlife includes the rare roan and sable antelope, while plains game are prevalent and of course their predators, including lion, hyaena, and leopard – with the endangered wild dog as an incredible bonus. Excellent birding.

Activities
• Day and night game drives in 01 x Land Cruiser accommodating a maximum of 08 guests. Hot water bottles, blankets and lined ponchos are provided.
• Guided nature walks on request (seasonal and subject to qualified walking guide being available).
• Birding (Internationally Recognised IBA – Important Bird Area).
• Log-pile hide, comfortably accommodates 10 to 12 guests, and is approximately five minutes’ drive from camp.

Accommodation
Four large, airy tents recreate an explorer-type style, while the main area is on a slightly raised deck. Wildlife movements can be seen at the log-pile hide – especially in the dry season when large numbers of elephant move through the area.
